How to Backup WordPress Database

We should back up WordPress Database regularly, just to prevent something unwanted in the future. If you need the tutorial on how to backup wordpress database, you should follow this easy step by step: (i put the images so you can easily following.)

1. First, let’s open your PhpMyadmin from cpanel.
2. Choose your wordpress database using scrolldown:


3. Choose Export from top menu

4. In “Export” section, click Select All, that will select all of your content in your wordpress. Dont forget to tick the SQL

5. In the “Structure” section, tick Add Drop Table, Add Auto_Increment value and Enclose table and fields name with backquotes, DONT FORGET to tick the Structure itself, just like in this image:

6. Tick the Data section, and leave the rest unticked

7. Tick Save as file, remember template and in the compression menu, you can choose “none, zipped, or gzipped”. It’s up to you. After that, click GO. That should open a new “save as file” window and you know what to do the rest…good luck!
